Bus accident in West Virginia injures 21

A bus accident last week in Wyoming County, WV left 21 people injured.

According to reports, the residential facility bus was heading down the roadway when a car crossed the center line and struck the bus head-on. The impact of the crash caused the bus to go off of the side of the road and over an embankment before collapsing onto its side nearly 30 feet from the collision site.

The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. and injured the 19 people on the bus along with the two people inside the car. The injured were transported to the medical center to be treated, but the injuries were said the be non-life threatening.
